EVIMED 60 (Raloxifene HCL) belongs to a class of drugs known as selective estrogen receptor modulators-SERMs. is used by women to prevent and treat bone loss (osteoporosis) after menopause. It slows down bone loss and helps to keep bones strong, making them less likely to break. EVIMED 60 may also lower the chance of getting a certain type of breast cancer after menopause.

For both prevention and treatment, raloxifene is taken daily as a 60 mg tablet. EVIMED 60 is for oral use and you may take it with or without food.
Swallow the tablet whole. If you wish you may take a glass of water with it. Do not break or crush the tablet before taking it. A broken or crushed tablet may taste bad and there is a possibility that you will receive an incorrect dose.
